Seattle Barbell Club is a barbell focused gym specializing in Olympic weightlifting. We work with athletes from all different backgrounds and skill levels, all the while encouraging everyone to build strength and confidence on the platform.
Our method of training is different than most because it is influenced both by the Chinese and Soviet Weightlifting System. Unlike most gyms, where there is a “Workout Of the Day,” we use researched based programming in our periodization blocks and strength cycles to prepare our athletes for local and national competitions.
